To celebrate their 100th anniversary Paxman designed and built a special set of 20 of their famed model 20 double horns. These featured hand hammered flares and other top end tweaks to that already famous design. I was lucky to have been able to get 4 of these when they were released and they sold almost immediately.
This is number 10 out of 20. It's made of lacquered yellow brass and has perfect compression. The original anniversary case is included as well. Other than some minor scratches in the lacquer this thing is in gorgeous condition. I could not find any dents and there is no evidence of any work having been done on it.
I'm a HUGE fan of Paxman horns. The sound is so distinctive, clear, and powerful - and the hand hammered flare adds a new dimension to this aural landscape.
