Dietmar Durk's horns are SO popular right now that he is not taking ANY new orders for 2025. They are a true 'orchestral' instrument. Extremely powerful horns with a beautifully colored tone. They hold their tone so wonderfully at FFF volumes that you'll find yourself able to keep up with any brass section. This one is made of unlacquered yellow brass. The compression is FABULOUS at 0.4 and the horn is all original. It has a nickel leadpipe to avoid any possible dezincification and the thumb and flipper are both fully adjustable for comfort. There are a few small dings from those pesky quick-change mutej passages - but that's about it. A Bb tuning slide is such a nice thing to have on a Geyer style horn - and the change mechanism is easily set to stand in either F or Bb. A Marcus Bonna MB7 case is included.
