If you're confused by the 'name' of this horn, join the crowd. I was confused looking at it until I realized what it was and the history behind it. This started as a Conn 28D made during the peak of the Conn dynasty in 1935. The horn passed through the Lawson workshop where an Elkhart 8D bell was installed and the horn was completely rebuilt - valves and all. It was made to look like new and lacquered. Big dark sound - smooth slurs.. everything that a Conn is known for. The horn is in gorgeous condition with a few tiny dings and some very minor scratches in the lacquer.
Quite a rare player and so FUN to play. Compression is 2.5
Original 1930's Conn fixed bell case included if desired.
