Given it's adorable dimensions one might think this is a toy, but far from it. Spend 5 minutes playing this horn and you'll want to add it to your stable of instruments. It will quickly find a useful spot in many smaller ensemble performances.

It's also a perfect instrument to take on vacation with you and even has a detachable bell. The small lightweight gigbag has backpack straps and check out the quality of the work in the photos. You'll find lots of crappy single Bb's on the internet. This is NOT one of them. Made of lacquered yellow brass. It also has your typical Briz attention to detail and extremely tight valves. If you wish to go bigger you can try it's bigger sibling the 102.

ADORABLE HORN, lightweight, decent sound, intonation is tough

I’m a semi-pro player who was looking for an affordable, lightweight secondary horn for when my double is in the shop or for travel practice. This horn was the perfect fit for me! No back pain when playing or hauling this horn :) On playing: air flows really nicely through this horn. I can zip up to high notes very easily, and the valves are quick and responsive. I have a hard time keeping it in tune - not sure if that’s common for single horns/small horns or if that’s a quality issue. I’m convinced if I keep working at it I’ll be able to keep it in tune, but it’ll take some time/effort/patience. On gear: it comes with a soft screwbell case, a polishing cloth, a mouthpiece (!!) and a quality check certificate. I haven’t used the mouthpiece because I don’t want to mess with my embouchure, but I think it’s cool that they sell this horn basically ready to play. I wish the case had more protection - if there was an upgrade to a hard case with more foam inside, I probably would have taken it. That said, description said it came with a soft gig bag, so I’m not surprised or anything. On aesthetics: this is the shiniest and cutest little horn I’ve ever owned. The rotor covers have little horns engraved into them!! I adore the way it looks and feels. I’ve never been able to buy a new horn before this guy, and I just love it.
