To list this horn as 'used' almost feels like a crime. It was owned by a player who wanted to extend their career just a little bit longer but soon after purchasing it they life took a different turn and they retired. If this was a car it would have less than 500 miles on it! It's a lacquered model 102 Bb horn with a stopping valve. This is a serious instrument not to be confused with the plethora of cheap student Bb horns. Evidence of this is in the perfect valve compression (0.1) and a detachable flare. The valve casings are made of nickel - not brass, which wears more quickly. The horn also comes with a flight case. It's light, and a blast to play. The stopping valve not only ensures that you can play gestopf passages in tune, but it also means you can hit the pedal notes as well. Other than the cute non-slip pads added to the levers this horn is all original and is priced $100 below a new one, but for all intents and purposes it is just like a new one.
