This horn is coming up on it's 100th Birthday and is in OUTSTANDING contition! All of the brass is in fine shape and the bell is as sturdy as the day it was made. The leadpipe has an added sleeve for protection and there is a tiny patch on the inside of one of the piston knuckles. The valve levers have been converted into an articulated lever system by George McCracken. The valves have been rebuilt and refit giving it a compression of 1.0, which is better than many new horns on the market these days. This model was used for many years in the New York Philharmonic and many players to this day use them as their primary instrument. A gray Eastman fixed bell case is included.
