This new Paxman Academy double is a high quality Geyer-style intermediate horn. One of Paxman's goals with this model horn was to maintain the high quality of their instruments, while developing instruments priced for the student market. It plays very well and sports an excellent 0.1 (the best possible score) a on the compression testing machine. This horn is made of yellow brass and is lacquered. Blue Paxman fixed bell case included.
