When Paxman released their Natural horn in the early 1980s it was a HUGE hit for many reasons. They were beautifully made, and they didn't require a special mouthpiece. Paxman worked closely with top professionals when designing all their instruments and given that London was (and still is) a leader in original music ensembles - this horn reflects that history.
This horn includes ALL crooks and couplers needed for all keys. The interior of the bell has been stunningly painted, and other than tarnish, the horn is in fabulous condition. It includes the original case (with clear markings for every crook).
These horns are rare and highly sought after. This horn was owned and maintained by one of Boston's top freelancers (who used it in many of Boston's internationally renowned early music ensembles).
