This stunning Geyer model is the result of 2 of the horn world's most creative and talented designers/builders: Steve Lewis (of Chicago fame) and Dietmar Durk (owner of Durk horns). Steve actually owns the Geyer name as he did not want to see it be used in ways that would diminish Carl Geyer's name. This horn is made of unlacquered yellow brass with a detachable flare (Alexander/Lawson ring). It features a Bb tuning slide (a rarity in Geyer wrap horns!) and a fully adjustable thumb lever and finger hook. Not only will it fit your hand like a comfortable glove, but the horn has a powerful tone (think Dale Clevenger!). The LDx5 Anniversary model has been one of the top model horns we've ever had in our shop. It truly is an 'orchestral' instrument. The horn is in almost mint condition! It has just been ultrasonically cleaned and is ready to lead a brass section!
The compression is perfect at 0.1 and a Protec case is included.
