It's such a joy coming across original Lawson horns. Their shop was such a labor of love backed by intense research. This is a rare nickel double in excellent condition. It's lacquered and has the original FB210.125 leadpipe, and the original flare (1241L 040). The bell nomenclature is a bit unsual in that it might indicate a lighter than usual flare - but it still has that Lawson 'heft' to it.
This is such a great playing horn - especially for those who need something other than an 8D but still want to fit in.
The compression is almost perfect at 0.9 - this is something many current manufacturers are unable to achieve.
The horn comes with the original Lawson case if desired - though they are EXTREMELY heavy and I wouldn't suggest shipping the horn in the case.
