Duerk Hand Guard
Beautifully made, verify comfortable material. However - it does NOT fit the Duerk D10 horn. It way overwraps, making little contact with hook and loop fasteners, leaving ends to be loose. It can be made to fit right with the help of a scissors and sewing machine if you so choose.

Duerk Handguard-Organic Leather
Nice feel to the leather. I bought this to protect the grip area on my Schmid double; this piece is a little longer, probably the Duerk has a larger area to cover in it's wrap. I had to make a modification to accommodate the duck foot hand rest but that was easy. Material is thinner than some other hand guards I have used (both leather and simulated), didn't take long to get used to the grip. I've had it on the horn for about two weeks and I like it a lot.

Excellent hand guard
What a beautiful hand made leather hand guard. It is very soft but strong leather and does not slip. Made in the old-world traditional manner. It is worth the slightly extra cost for this superior product. You can literally see the hand made quality and individual pride sewn into it.
