Conn 8DRS #133799 CC

I grew up playing an 8D and I still have a soft spot for them.  That big dark sound - the gigantic presence especially in the lower registers - they just make you feel good all over.  This is a lacquered 8DRS which means it has a nickel valve section and slides, and the rest of the horn is red/Gold brass.  This adds even a bit more darkness and some extra 'zing' at higher volumes.  The horn has almost perfect compression (with a reading of 0.4 on the Bb side).  2 Joy keys have been added to the horn so you don't have to worry about emptying it during any tricky solos.  Overall it's in very good condition with just a few minor dings and some lacquer wear.  A Conn detachable bell case is included.
