Conn 8D #K81429 PM

This horn reminds me of the first 'real' double I ever had - a 'K' series 8D that I played through my years in College.  This one, however, has had the valves rebuilt (a perfect compression reading of 0.1) so it actually plays BETTER than mine did. The lacquer has been removed from this horn. It is all original - not even a waterkey!  There are no patches, and other than the small dings here and there, it's in very nice condition.  Good Elkhart 8D's with tight valves are hard to find, and rotor rebuilds is an expensive job (over $1800). This horn is ready to go.  Now - go with a job with the Cleveland orchestra with this horn.
