If you have a budding hornist and you're not certain if they'll stick with the horn and you're concerned about losing $$$ this horn is perfect for them. It's a silver plated Conn 6D. It's been well used but the compression is still passable at 2.8. Think about it this way - if you rent a double horn it will cost you at least $60 a month which means that at the end of the year you'd have almost paid as much as the cost of this horn. The big difference is that at the end of that year you don't have anything to show for it! That money is gone. If you BUY this horn and they want to move on or move up you can re-sell it and recoup your investment!
