There was a period of time where the entire Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra was playing Conn 10 and 11D horns. They're a great affordable Geyer style instrument. This one is a fixed bell model made of lacquered brass. It has an added duck's foot and 2 amado waterkeys. The compression is fabulous at 1.9 and overall the horn is in good condition. There's missing lacquer here and there (Conn lacquer is notorious for wearing quickly) and lots of little dings - but this horn has not had any major damage at all. Think of it this way - a new one is around $4200 - you're saving $900 just because of some minor wear here and there.
