This gorgeous custom horn by Felix Cantesanu isn't even a year old yet! It has all the bells and whistle - from the hand hammered flare, to the engraved valve caps and Amado waterkeys. The horn is in perfect condition and is made of unlacquered yellow brass. The compression is perfect at 0.1. You are basically getting a new horn (ok, yeah, it was played for a few months, and then put away) and the only way to know it was ever used is because it is unlacquered. Polish it up and it would truly look new. Felix's horns currently have over a 6 month waiting list. Get this one now, skip the list, save over a thousand dollars, and play the heck outta it!
The bell size is the same as a Schmid or Ricco Kuhn horn. Adjustable finger hook and thumb lever for comfort. Perfectly maintained.

Fantastic opportunity!
A Cantesanu Double horn (the latest model from Felix Cantesanu) is a powerful, projecting instrument, yet it possesses a great deal of finesse and is very easy to play softly with chamber ensembles. In other words, this horn will easily allow the full spectrum of playing and dynamic range. I own a Cantesanu myself, and I currently have another on order from Felix. I've trialed almost every top brand of horn over the past 2 years, and I've not found a better instrument. The sound is superb, rich and full, the overtones and harmonics are just right, and the intonation and play-ability of these horns are top notch. If you have the means to acquire this instrument, you won't be sorry! Very highly recommended!
