As I keep saying, Yamaha is one of the most under rated makers out there. People assume that because it's such a huge company that they can't possibly rival the boutique makers. Spoiler alert! They do, and in blind taste tests the often OUT perform them. The 672 is Yamaha's newest model (it replaced the 668). This one is in absolutely new condition. It has been converted to a detachable bell with a Lawson/Alexander ring. THIS is the only part of the original design that I dislike (the Yamaha ring) and this one, with the Alexander ring, now fits in all cases (the Yamaha ring is too small making the bell too tall for many cases). You can also try a myriad of different flares on it as most of the ones available have that ring. The lacquer had been removed in a few of the soldering areas where the horn was disassembled, but there are no dents.
Though it comes without a case I can provide a Yamaha fixed bell or detachable bell case if desired at no charge.
The compression is perfect at 0.1.
Also - the horn has an Alexander flipper AND a Leather Specialties handguard. All of these extras add up to over $675, and buying this horn would save you well over $1000 to order it this way. Dark tone - very centered, and very powerful
