If you polished this horn it would pass for a NEW instrument. The owner played it only for a few months and then decided that they wanted to go with an 8D type sound. Their loss is your gain. It is truly a like new horn (minus the tarnish due to it being not lacquered). An Alexander flipper has been added for comfort and a Leather Specialties handguard is also on the instruments. These two additions make the overall replacement cost of this horn at $7000 - so you would be saving $800!!
All this AND it comes with a protec detachable bell case - (that's another $300 if you were to purchase it) which is also in new condition
The 671 harkens back to the days of the Yamaha YHR 861 (which I played for almost 9 years). The 671 has bell tapers very similar to an Alexander 103 but with the more desired true Geyer style design.
