I just adore Paxman horns - I played one for much of my career. This one brings back such fond memories for me! It's a lacquered nickel 20A (American bore - aka: 'New World'). This horn was Paxman's way of getting into the film score sound of the LA studio players, and many are still using them to this day. The valves have great compression (perfect!!) of 0.1 and the horn is in overall very good condition with just minor dings and lacquer wear, but overall it's really good. I love the broad sound of Paxman horns, and they are such powerful instruments as well.
