My first professional horn was a K series 8D. It got me hooked into playing. I loved that dark sound and the ease with which it played. The L series reminds me of those feelings and of that horn. This horn was made in 1968 and it's in fabulous condition. The compression is great at 1.9 and that's without them ever having been rebuilt. This was a horn that spent much of it's time packed away until it was discovered by one of New York Cities top freelancers. It's all original without any of the usual damage found in most 8D bell throats.
