Elkhart 8Ds in this stunning condition are becoming increasingly rare. This beauty was made in 1970! It's all original and the compression is still great (1.4). Conn is still trying to recapture their 'glory days' but for some reason it has still eluded them. My horn playing career began on a K series 8D and I loved it and used it for many decades. These horns have a dark sound and an ease of playing that most other Kruspe style horns can't match. There are some tiny dings here and there including some marks by the leadpipe cap (near where the MP is inserted) though those do not go through to the leadpipe at all. - this is simply in amazing condition and a GREAT buy at this price.
The original Conn fixed bell case is included if desired.
