Made in 1970 - this Elkhart 8D is a pure 8D! No modifications, All original. Pure Elkhart 8D. It was made 2 years before Conn's disastrous move to Texas. The rebuilt valves have perfect compression, there are no thin spots or patches, and though it has lots of small dings it does not bear any of the hallmarks of having any severe bell damage (Quite common on older 8D's due to how thin the bells were made). Fixed bell, no waterkey, ALL original - and for under $4000! Used horns of much lower quality sell for more than this.
