Odds are that you have probably heard this horn without knowing it. It was used for many years in the Canadian Brass - thus the gold plating. It's a Conn 11D with a custom leadpipe by Ron Pinc of Chicago. The valves have near perfect compression (0.4) and the horn has been gold plated (as are all of the Canadian brass instruments). This thing is like driving a sports car - so easy to move around! I can see why he chose it for the Canadian Brass. A Flipper has been added as well as an adjustable finger hook. The F branch has been removed (I assume for dent work) and replaced, the soldering is evident. Overall the horn is in great condition with small dings here and there, and just those aforementioned solderings.
