This horn is very similar to the one that Dennis Brain played throughout his career. It's a lacquered gold brass single Bb horn with a stopping valve. The compression is fabulous at 1.5 - especially knowing that it is at least 50 years old or so. The gold brass gives it a richness of tone that most Bb horns are lacking. The light weight means its extremely agile and fun to play. Professionally owned and played in the Cleveland area. There are 2 patches on it (though, they also might be extra guards for where the player was often holding it. Lots of small dings throughout, but given the low price and how fun it is to play - ignore em!
