Alexander 106 Helden Hn #34862 JH

With the rise of star hornists like Sara Willis and Stefan Dohr has come a new found interest in the horns they play which are, of course, Alexander horns.  The 106 'Helden' horn has been around for a long time.  The Boston Symphony had a number of them in their section a while back!  This is the new updated version, and this one features a hand hammered flare and throat - along with mechanical linkages (minibal) and a fully adjustable thumb lever to ensure a comfortable hand position.  The compression is PERFECT (0.1) and the horn is almost perfect as well (a couple of the tiniest dings and some minor lacquer scratches.  The Alexander dealer here in the U.S. sells this model for over  $12000 and that is without a case!!  This one includes the custom made Winter Case which is formed specifically for this horn.
You MUST try this wonderful playing orchestral horn to see what the rest of the world's hornists know which we, here in the U.S. are slowly discovering.
