Alexander 103N (Nickel) #13 JF

Nickel 103's are rare - and ones with good compression are even MORE rare.  This one sports a compression reading of 1.4 (Fabulous!) and has a number: 13 stamped on the bell.  It was made for the American market (this was during the heyday of the Conn 8D).  I recall seeing some of these in the BSO section in the 70's.  This one is made of unlacquered nickel and is in overall very nice shape.  There are no thin spots or patches.  This horn has a custom Lawson leadpipe on it.  Small dings here and there.  The nickel gives this horn some real 'Zing' to the sound!  If you need to be heard more clearly this would be the horn for you.
