This Yamaha Custom YHR 868V is in stunning condition. The custom line started in the early 80's with the 861,862, and the 863. The 868 is the successor of the 862. It's a Kruspe wrap and it's gorgeously constructed - AND, it plays as good as it looks. If you've ever felt frustrated with an 8D, this horn will bring your love of the Kruspe wrap back again. The notes all slot easily and the sound is dark and centered. The valves have FABULOUS compression at 0.9. I could find only a couple of the tiniest dings. Why would anyone buy a new Hoyer or Conn when they could get this horn for less money. MUCH more bang for your buck.
