Yamaha horns are some of the most under-rated instruments out there. I constantly tell people that if they were blindfolded they would most likely pick a Yamaha horn. The reasons are many: They are GORGEOUSLY made and the valves are smooth and tight. (This horn has perfect compression of 0.1). They are so smooth blowing - very low resistance. This horn is like a better 'classic' 8D. Last of all - they are priced far lower than horns of equal quality.
This is a nickel, lacquered, fixed bell, Yamaha YHR 668Nii (second version). These are not longer made as they have been replaced by the 672. This one is in near perfect condition and comes with the original Yamaha case.
