Vienna Horn MW

Though this horn does not have an engraved name it was made and purchased in Vienna (most likely from the shop that makes the horns for the Vienna Phil).  The gusseting on the tubing and the hand hammered flare is stunning.  The overall craftsman ship has obviously been passed down through many generations.  In short - this horn is a gem - both physically and aurally.  The compression is perfect - the vienna valves slide in a way that would make a trombonist drool.  It is an F Vienna horn which gives it that glorious sound with rich overtones.  There are no dents in the body of the horn, but the bogen does have 2 tiny dings and one small dent.
