It's always fun to unpack a Rauch horn and to see it in such gorgeous condition! Dan Rauch only made 432 horns and after serial number 300 he switched to the smaller valves thus lightening the horn a bit. These are HIGHLY sought after horns. This one was owned by a player in one of the 'Big 5' orchestras. it's made of unlacquered yellow brass with the R1 leadpipe. There are 2 Amado waterkeys on it and a Duerk flipper. The horn comes with 2 3rd F slides (one is a custom one made by Ron Pinc in Chicago). It has PERFECT compression thus showing that it was professionally maintained (0.1).
These are powerful horns - found in most of the top Orchestras throught America. This horn is in gorgeous condition with minor blemishes.
All this PLUS it comes with a Marcus Bonna MB4 Baby case.
