These are the ultimate in detachable bell horn cases.
Weighing in at 6.2 lbs they can withstand huge amounts of weight on them to keep your horn safe.
The case dimensions are 23" high, 15" wide and 11" deep (these measurements include the handles and the feet).
The internal padding is sufficient for almost all horns (we have yet to find a horn that wouldn't fit outside of the more unusual wrapped McCracken horns).

I love this case!
It is super light (but durable) and fits in the overhead locker on the plane very well. My only gripe would be that it would be nice if it were lockable (when I bought it I had in mind that it would be sturdy enough to survive the hold of the plane if my situation were desperate), but otherwise it is great. I guess it would also be nice if I could fit a mute in there too, but I bought it for travelling and that would make it bigger so that's not a huge deal really. Also, it looks great and attracts many compliments from other horn players!
