Odds are that you have actually heard this horn on recordings as it was owned and played (extensively) in one of the top 5 U.S. orchestras by a major principal hornist. It's the earlier model of the Paxman 40 (many people prefer this configuration over the newer one). Made of unlacquered yellow brass it has a Large bell throat which helps to make the High F side of the horn match with the Bb side. There is a stopping valve to help ensure good intonation when playing those gestopf passages (without transposing!).
The compression measures 3.1 but this is across 5 valves. Overall it is in fine condition - just some tarnish and tiny dings.
