The 393X by Ricco Kuhn is probably THE most desired triple horn available currently. The horn plays incredibly in all the registers, in fact the double side plays so effortlessly that it spawned a new model (the 293X). Imagine that! Typically the double side of a triple horn plays with too much resistance, but not this model It's made of lacquered yellow brass and the horn is in pristine condition. It was recently sent off to Ricco for a full check up and update. It's perfect! Just like the compression (0.1) - and THAT is an amazing feat for any horn let alone a triple horn with 6 valves. These horns have a wonderful tone - they aren't overly heavy or overly light - they are in the 'Goldilocks' zone. This horn has an adjustible fingerhook and flipper and it's all original. The owner has 2 of this model (one in gold brass as well) and decided he didn't 'need' 2 triple horns.
(Personally, I think everyone should have at LEAST one good triple horn! lol)
