About the composer: Born in Altötting in 1968, Johann Simon Kreuzpointner studied composition and church music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He taught at the Conservatory for Church Music of the Diocese of St. Pölten and has served as Head of the Department for Church Music (Chamber and Church Music) of the Diocese since 2011. He is a prize-winner in several composition competitions.
