Ok, you've got a young one who wants to play the horn and you don't want to spend a huge amount, and you don't want to get a really low quality 'no name' instrument either - THIS is the horn for you. Priced at only 2400 (due to lower compression of 3.6) this horn is a perfect starting double. It's American made by the famed Holton factory when it was in Elkhorn Wisconsin before being bought out by Conn and moved to Ohio. When I was younger everyone wanted this horn and I was SO envious of my classmates who each got one.
This horn is made of lacquered Nickel with a fixed bell. It is all original and has the expected wearing of the lacquer. There are no large dents and just a few tiny dints.
This is a horn that will save you money over the long haul. Rather than paying $65 a month for a crap instrument you can buy this, and then, when they are ready to move up, you can re-sell it and get all your money back out of it.
Holton fixed bell case is included.
