Holton horns are like the Toyotas of the horn world.  They get the job done, easily, and well.  They're the perfect first double horn for any player.  They don't break the bank and they don't hold you back.  This one has just been cleaned and has new bumpers.  It's made of lacquered nickel and has a fixed bell.  The compression registers a 3.9 so a more viscous oil would be the one to use.  
Given that renting a horn is now about $100 a month it wouldn't take long for this purchase to overtake a rental - AND you'll have a horn at the end of the term that you own and can re-sell if desired.  Small dings here and there as to be expected and lacquer wear.
