Many horn players suffer from shoulder or other pains associated with constantly supporting the weight of their horn. The Ergo Support mechanism removes all the weight from your arms so you can focus on making music. Made in Europe this device is gorgeously crafted and works when sitting or standing.
It is available for 2 different configurations/wraps:
- Attaching Plate A, designed for Geyer Style horns such as Alexander 1103, most Hoyers, Paxmans, Schmids, and similarly structured horns.
- Attaching Plate B, designed for Kruspe Style horns where the change valve is above the first valve such as Alexander 103, most Holtons, Conns, and similarly structured horns.
(The safest bet to make sure you get the right Plate would be to shoot us an email with what kind of horn you're playing on...)

ergobrass support type B for Holton 179 Dbl French Horn
Type B does not fit a Holton 179 dbl French horn. I am very disappointed & sad as aging & accidents have made holding up the horn difficult. The cushioned plastic piece needs to be higher so that the spit valve does not hit the plate when used (it is partially blocked). Ditto for tuning slide. The zip ties provided for the cushioned piece do not fit between the tubing (only one tie fits) so it cannot be secured.(other sizes of ties do not fit neither)
