The Durk D10 is a collaboration between Dürk Horns and famed hornist and conductor Alessio Allegrini.
This German Custom made horn has many unique features. The airpath flows in the same direction on both the Bb and F horns and is never interrupted by the face of the valve rotors creating a smoother playing experience as was developed by Dick Merewether at Paxman Horns.
Another unique feature is the Bb tuning slide which is absent on almost every other makers Geyer model horns and, as with all of Dietmar's horns, the interchangeable leadpipe Nib for mouthpiece depth adjustment.
Simply put - this is an AMAZING instrument.
