Conn 8D (Eastlake) #456721 PK

Did you know that the famous Conn company started where all great things start - Massachusetts!  Boston was home to many of the first brass makers in the U.S.  This one was made in Eastlake Ohio and it's in great shape.  First off, the compression is wonderful at 1.6 so you don't have to worry about having a stuffy horn!  Secondly - it has a couple small things added to it to make it easier to play and hold - an Alexander duckfoot (Flipper) was added AND an Amado waterkey on the leadpipe. There are a few small dings here and there, but they are all very minor, and there is some lacquer scratching (and some of it has peeled off on the inside of the flare).  As with most 8D's - this one has a BIG dark sound - it will take ALL the air you put into it and then some!  Easy high range and powerful low notes!
