If someone handed my this Conn 12D Descant (Bb/F) horn and told me it was a new horn it would take me a long time to figure out that it's used. It's almost in perfect condition. I could find only 2 very small dings, and I mean SMALL. It's made of lacquered yellow brass and has perfect compression. The 12D is based on the huge success of the more expensive Paxman 40. Conn thought it was good to enter the descant market and why not go with a design that is proven and desired and a LOT less expensive. For only 4K you're getting a like new horn which usually list for over 9K~!
