Classical Favorites Transcribed for Two French Horn by Carmelo Barranco. $6.95

"Carmelo Barranco has chosen beautiful selections for this group and has moved them into very playable ranges for the horn. The keys are accessible, and all range work is reasonable. The first and second parts mesh well, with quite a bit of melodic work for the second player. Lines are very lyrical and sound so natural on the horn, good choices for this instrument. Also the parts are approachable for students but sophisticated enough for the experienced player. This addition to Mr. Barranco's library of fine arrangements adds many excellent seletions that are tastefully arranged for two horns, not to be missed!" - C. E. Van Norman, Retired Principal Horn of the Metropolitan Opera.

Barranco, Carmelo - Classical Favorites for Two Horns

Enjoyable to play but Mr Barranco seems to have an aversion to using the bass clef which makes the low sections more difficult to read than they could be.
