This professionally owned and maintained Alexander 103 was used often in the Clev. Symphony Orchestra! It's made of unlacquered yellow brass, (Alexander ring) and it has had a few customizations on it. First off you'll notice the classy finger buttons added to the levers (both for comfort, and to accomodate larger hands), The valves were just serviced by Chuck Ward, a custom leadpipe is installed (I don't know who made it!), and the thumb lever has an added extension. The compression is quite good at 1.9 and this means the horn slots beautifully. The leadpipe has a few (5) patches on it - and a new pipe can be installed for $150 if so desired. (The player LOVES the way it plays with the current pipe).
For an extra $400 you can purchase the Carbon Fiber BAM case with it. These typically cost well over $1000! This one is like new.
It was good enough for a pro to use in the Clev. Orchestra, it'll be GREAT for you to use as well.
