The Alexander 103 is probably the most played instrument in the world, and the current horn section of the Berlin Phil are part of the reason why! They are amazing players and they blend so well together. This is an unlacquered yellow brass 103 with a detachable flare (Alexander ring). The valves were just replated by Chuck Ward (thus the wonderful compression rating of 1.2), and it has a brand new Miles O'Malley leadpipe on it. A flipper has been added for extra comfort (and for those REALLY high notes... ;) ) The minibal linkages are quick, quiet, and efficient - no more worrying about a broken string on your horn. There are a few protective patches (Two by the thumb lever, One inside the bell tail where the hand sits), lots of little dings - but nothing serious or that would affect the way this wonderful horn plays.
MB7 case included.
