Schmid Triple #22112 with 2 flares JB

This professionally owned and maintained Schmid triple (High F) has perfect compression - and that is across 7 valves!!!  That is astounding - and that means that this horn locks in!  The notes are solid - the wide spun flare helps to round out the sound especially on the High F side of the horn.  The fingerhook has been removed so that a nice Clebsch strap can be used.  These are super comfy!!  I have heard this horn played SO many times over the years - and though the owner is a fabulous player, the horn certainly helped.  There is some lacquer wear and a few ripples in the leadpipe.  The second flare has 2 patches and much use but still sounds great.
