This Engelbert Schmid double horn comes with a 2nd flare and has perfect compression (0.1) all for a price which is thousands less than a new one.  It's made of lacquered yellow brass, has a nickel silver leadpipe and 2 amado waterkeys.  The 2 flares are both spun, one is a Medium the other is a Wide with an engraved garland.  The garland adds that nice extra mass for wonderful projection.  The case is a Marcus Bonna MB5 with the 'faux Alligator' finish sold by Balu Musik (a $700 value!).  The horn has the4 expected amonts of wear - lots of small dings and some lacquer wear, but nothing unexpected.  The flare without the garland has more lacquer wear on the inside.  These horns are lightweight and quite agile.  Find out why Schmid horns are desired worldwide.
