Adagio was written for Greg Miller, professor of horn at the University of Maryland, as a thank-you for his assistance in the completion of the composer’s DMA degree. A truly beautiful melody is presented for the soloist. Originally a work for horn, this edition has been set for euphonium or trombone by Patrick Stuckemeyer.
