Lawson Fourier #1042 MS

The Lawson family contributed SO much to the horn world.  Their designs and tests are used by many makers to this day.  This horn is a lacquered nickel horn with an Ambronze bell and tail.  It's in stunning condition and it sounds as gorgeous as it plays.  The near perfect valve compression means it has its full life ahead of it.  This is basically a 40 year old 'new'horn!  There are some mine scratches in the lacquer, but I couldn't see any dents at all.  Its all original and has the (valuable) FB210.125 leadpipe.  This thing is like a time capsule!  Truly a professional instrument and historic as well.  Lawson horns are known for the way that they get incredibly loud without getting edgy - this is due to the use of Ambronze.
