Good for worn valve mechanisms I have an Alex 103 (~90 years old) with pivot screws, not ball-joints. Very noisy with other heavy oils I've tried. JM Spacefiller not only immediately quieted the action, but kept the pivot screws quiet for many hours of playing. Superb product--highly recommended
