It's rare that I come across a horn I've not seen before - and this is one of them! It's a lacquered, yellow brass Descant (Bb/F) made by Jiracek. It's design is loosely based on the Alexander 107 and it is priced unbelievably inexpensively! It also has the nice addition of the stopping valve as well (no more worrying about those funky Bb stopped fingerings). The linkages are mechanical (no more broken strings). All of this for the price of a single student horn!!
The compression is 2.9 - the case is a Jiracek detachable bell case.
The lacquer is in fine condition with a few wear spots. Minor dings here and there.
