Holton H177 #606219 JE

This is a classic Holton H177 which was made in the original Elkhorn, WI. factory.  Conn has since purchased the Holton name and it has lost much of it's 'personality'.  The Elkhorn Holtons are beautifully made and were used across all level of players.  The 177 features a Medium large flare and has a Bb tuning slide.  This one has good compression (2.4) and was just cleaned.  The horn is made of lacquered nickel with a fixed bell. It's all original.  There is lacquer wear and minor dings here and there (and evidence of a dent under the finger hook) but overall in good condition.
Perfect horn for someone going off to college or getting their first double.
